Waterfowl Hunting Seminar
Seminar conducted by Jim Beverly, a professional retriever trainer with over 45 years experience in the waterfowl hunting industry. He is the Dog Pro for Longneck Outdoors & Callin The Shots Outdoor TV, producers of the award winning Killin' Time DVD Series. Jim is also a member of The Finger Lakes & Western NY Waterfowl Asso., Lake Plains Waterfowl Asso., Ohio Waterfowl Asso., active member and sponsor for Ducks Unlimited and a volunteer for The Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge in WNY.
Activity will cover ALL aspects of waterfowl hunting. Time will be dependent on the amount of attendee participation, which is encouraged. A special time limit can be managed.
Cost to sponsoring organization or company is $500 per day plus traveling expenses for two people. Fees for youth and church groups can be negotiated. For scheduling or more info, contact Jim.
Full Day Training Clinic for the Companion Hunting Retriever
Inside activity will be on a seminar basis covering the entire process of preparing the retriever for the blind, boat or field.
Outside activity will be a hands on clinic with handlers bringing their dogs if they are at least four months old. Training will start with obedience and working toward the end of the day with taking the dog into the duck blind in a real hunting situation. Correct handling techniques will be covered throughout the day as well as training techniques for the dog. So that each handler/dog gets the full benefit of the clinic, no more than 10 participants should be signed up per day.

Special Two Day Conference for those interested in becoming a pro-trainer
Five hours per day discussing and demonstrating the methods and attitude I apply as a professional trainer. Designed to pass on 45 years of experience from a different perspective than offered by most books and traditional methods.
Fee for the two days is $300 per person with a minimum of 5 participants. The sponsoring organization is responsible for travel expenses. To schedule a conference or for more info, contact Jim.
Full Day Program for Retailers
Jim Beverly will be available for the full day to answer questions regarding dog training issues, waterfowl hunting and conservation. Recommendation of in stock merchandise and products related to these issues will be made and purchase encouraged. In store appearances should be advertised since Jim is well know in the dog training-waterfowl hunting industry through his affiliation with many organizations and film projects.
